AI visibility tool with Google Search Console integration
Yes. Limelit connects Google Search Console on every account, including the free one; it reads your Search Console data and does not change your site or rankings.
What the integration reads
- Read-only access
- An owner of your Limelit account connects Search Console with Google sign-in, and Limelit asks only for read-only access (the webmasters.readonly scope).
- One opt-in write
- Sitemap auto-submit is the only write, and it is opt-in: Limelit asks Google for the wider permission only if you turn it on.
- 28 days of Search Analytics
- Each sync reads the last 28 days of Search Analytics, by page and by page and query.
- Up to 25,000 rows per pass
- Each pass requests up to 25,000 rows, the most the Search Console API returns, so low-click queries are not cut off.
- Six findings
- Limelit derives six findings from your data: content decay, cannibalisation, CTR gap, quick wins, content gaps and traffic drops.
- Striking distance
- It lists the queries where your pages sit at positions 5 to 20, close enough that a better page can move up.
- A weekly digest
- A weekly Search Console digest is on the dashboard and available to your AI agent over MCP. It is not emailed.
- URL Inspection for published pages
- URL Inspection runs only on the pages Limelit publishes for you, not on every URL in your property.
What it does not do
- Write to Search Console, except submitting your sitemap if you turn on sitemap auto-submit.
- Show your rank inside AI answers: Search Console reports Google Search only, and Limelit measures AI answers separately, from its own prompt runs.
- Track Bing: Bing Webmaster Tools is not connected.
